We’ve been talking a lot about different kinds of teas that work wonders for your health. But what are the best herbal teas to make you healthier? We did a ton of research and found some fantastic teas that you should add to your tea stash!
We hate to sound like a broken record on this one, but peppermint tea is a must for anyone that is looking to drink tea for health reasons. This awesome tea will boost your immune system, help with digestive problems, help reduce your stress, and even clean up that nasty bad breath you are sporting. If you happen to have a really garlicky meal for lunch and don’t want to ward off the vampires at your office, just order some peppermint tea and nobody will know you at garlic cloves for lunch.
We talked about ginger tea for health before, but we need to bring it up again. Because ginger tea has high oleoresin content, it has some amazing health benefits. Ginger tea can help you kick that terrible cold, or even help reduce flu symptoms and help your body fight it off all together. If you have heart issues, this is the tea for you. It helps lower high blood pressure, improves circulation, and will lower you blood cholesterol levels. It’s really easy to make ginger tea, so give it a try!
People tend to forget that rooibos tea is great for your health! It has a ton of vitamin c, as well as other healthy minerals your body can use to feel awesome. If you want to look younger, you should stock up on rooibos tea because it has specific antioxidants that can help ward off signs of aging! Also, if you happen to have bad skin, or suffer from eczema, this is the tea for you.
Lemon Balm Tea
Feeling a little down in the dumps? Put some water in the kettle and make yourself some lemon balm tea. Lemon balm tea will help lift your spirits and improve your concentration. So if you are like me and can’t seem to concentrate sometimes, lemon balm tea is for you. And before I forget, if you have kids that suffer from nightmares, lemon balm tea before bed is the ticket to killing the boogieman for good!
There isn’t enough we can say about chamomile tea. It is an amazing tea that does everything but take out the trash! If you are on any kind of weight loss program, you need to drink a cup of chamomile tea just before bed. It will help your body burn calories while you sleep, and also make you sleep like a baby. Whenever I give it to my husband, it literally knocks him out and he goes to bed nearly instantly. Ladies, I don’t need to say anything more.
So there you have it, teas that will make you healthy! In terms of preparing these teas, you can buy the lose teas, or you can even grow many of these teas in your own garden if you want, or buy the plants in the store.
