    Hi Erin :)
    You are so totally right. I bought a tea ball a few months ago and am not very happy with it. It all balls up tight, I’m sure some leaves on the inside don’t even get to expand. I also find that some of my nicer teas have larger pieces in them that don’t even fit properly into the ball. You’ve convinced me I need an infuser :)

    I don’t think this inherently means that tea balls are bad.  It just means you should only use them if you are using a small amount of tea, say for one cup.  I have no trouble getting a delicious cup of tea using a tea ball!  Just sayin’ :)
